Camp!!!!
Alright, for those of you I didn't tell and those who I did but got a little shaken up yesterday and forgot, I was at camp last week. I left Thursday the 24th and got back Monday the 28th. We left Cornerstone at about 11:30 and got there at about 1:30. Trouble was our church's Jr. High was supposed to leave at 1:30... ON THE SAME BUS WE TOOK!!!!!! So, the high schoolers figured they would be an hour and a half behind schedule... NOPE!!!!!! There was no sign of them until it was just about time to go to dinner. And then they didn't show up till dinner was over!!!!! But truthfully that was more of a win than a loss if you catch my drift... Then that night we got to go out on a scavenger hunt if you will... IN THE PITCH BLACK DARKNESS OF CAMP CEDAR CREST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That night was pretty laid back in the cabin, nothing out of the ordinary... Except for our cabin leader lighting his farts on fire. (I apologize to any females reading this, but you're on a guy's Blog! That kind of content is inevitable!!!) For breakfast the next morning we had... OKAY I CANNOT REMEMBER WHAT WE HAD!!!! But I do remember it messed with everyone's stomach! There was puke! There were farts! Nausea, Heart-Burn, Indegestion, Upset Stomachs, Dia... You get the point! But Pepto Bismol would have been the equivalent of Superman! All I had was some baaaaaaaad gas though. But we had an activity that involved eating foods that were not necssesarily (Pardon my spelling) everyone's favorite. So you can imagine how that turned out! :) But finally the next morning everyone was back to normal... Well, their version of normal! So, Saturday was pretty cool. I made a new friend on Saturday. Funny thing was I had never seen her (SEEEE AMY!!!!! I CAN MAKE FRIENDS IN THE OPPOSITE GENDER!!!) before camp, yet... SHE GOES TO MY CHURCH!!! Oh and by the way, her name is Jacqueline. Sunday was awesome!!!! The worship was amazing! The message was needed! And then Monday came along WE HAD TO GO HOME!!!!!!! But it was nice to be home. If you want to experience some of this in action, come to Cornerstone's Winter Camp 2009. If you want more detail email me and ask at IndyJake210@aol.com
